Review This Haunt
  • Good haunt!

Now, I’m biased because I have worked haunts and the haunt industry for 15 years. This one was good - I believe they are volunteers- and they put their all into it. The initial clown was rad, the doll face girl did awesome, and most everyone was really into it. Coming from a high level haunt im definitely biased, but I had a lot of fun. Final guy did great with “trust”. Everyone statues in character despite a slow fri night. I foresee this one getting better in the future, too. I’d try it again. Only real issue is no bathrooms once you enter and the mall is closed!

  • Email Verified Awesome and Scary

I and my friends had a blast at the NM Slaughter House. All the scary rooms were great and the obstacles were so challenging. One of my friends was held captive while we just ran and escaped. We felt the entire thing to be so real that we were screaming for help most of the time. I was pulled in by a leather face man in a room full of skeletons and it was the most terrifying moment in my life. I screamed so loud that finally the staff came in released me. Awesome experience! I am sure to come back and get hold of that man next time. I simply loved it.

  • This place is insane

First off... We decided not to Get handcuffed and first thing I Get captured and caged! Had to have a couple going through release me. This place is intense. Had a seat in the electric chair device and wasn't expecting to get shocked and yep that shocked! Hope to go again this weekend!

  • Not very scary but a lot of fun!

The line was short, but took almost 45 minutes to get through because they take 1 person at a time - unless you pay for handcuffs (which broke in 2 minutes). They also offer a potato sack for you to wear on your head, but after paying so much money, why would you want to hide from the view? Besides, it's way too hot to keep on inside. Being instantly separated from your group does create a more unique experience for each guest. That said, I was never scared the entire time nor was any if my friends including our 10 year old son. We still had fun playing with the actors and being sent into cages, the electric chair or many other gadgets they have hidden along the way. The story (described above) isn't really included in the maze of rooms. I still dont know why there was a sea monster hanging out next to the spider webs. Also, it sort of just ends abruptly by being told to go through a door which is actually the exit to the parking lot. We all left saying, "was that it? Is it already over? We were just getting into it!". Could be a lot more scary and just as fun with a lot more tweaking.

  • Awesome experience

We had such an awesome time there. Loved the whole interagation room and the obsticules they had us go through. I was really unsure of being separated so we purchased handcuffs to stay together. So worth it! Love the interaction with the characters and they even captured us and held us captive as others went through. Hope to go to this years haunted house.

  • So awesome

I was lost in the dungeons of the house for so long i barely made it out with my life this house is by far the best in new mexico i highly recommend it. This guy named leather head pulled me into a room full of skelotons and chains and made me almost pass out from fear and the the cannibal kids wanted to eat me and this clown named gus was gonna kill me (not reallt) :P just when i thought i was safe this thing with long ears came and he had a very loud voise howled in my face and i ran out of that place so fast!!! Best haunt ever!!!!!

  • NM Slaughter House Best Illusion Haunt!

I am an out -of- state traveler; I have been to many Haunt Attractions throughout the country. I was staying at a nearby hotel, and I was impressed into inquiry while walking to my vehicle. Most appealing was the outdoor "set" and the sound coming from this attraction. It was very dynamic. I am pleased to say I did purchase a ticket, and I will be returning again next year if in fact, I discover this haunt will again be in operation. I am sadly disappointed I was traveling solo this time and did not have the opportunity to share this experience. I most enjoyed the internal-house "sets." The illusion was incredibly intense. The saddest thing about visiting NM is that these types of attractions are rarely appreciated. It is the population element. E.M , Calif.
