Located in Roswell, the Southeast New Mexico Historical Society features a museum that houses war paraphernalia and exhibits from the past. The location is believed to be haunted by the ghost of a young soldier who was supposedly held captive as a prisoner of war. Witnesses have claimed to see his ghost waving and smiling from a second floor window. Other reports of paranormal activity at the museum include cold spots in the attic, disembodied voices, and a pair of ghostly twin boys that have been spotted playing on the lower level of the building.
